We love Halloween!

This year, Peyton has been really into Nintendo. She got a Nintendo Switch a few months ago and loves playing every chance she gets. Peter says the switch was for her, but I see him playing it a lot too, so I think it was more for him…Ha!

Well. naturally, Peyton wanted to be Princess Peach and we all just followed her lead. Well, everyone except for Charlotte, she insisted on being Elsa. Who were we to change her mind? So here we are, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, the Star and the Queen of Ice, Elsa.

The girl’s and Rhett’s costumes were purchased from Amazon and I’m wearing my new obsession, spanx leggings. Peter just pulled out some overalls he’s had in the closet. They’re actually apart of his work uniform and they were perfect for his role as Luigi. I made the star out of a cardboard box and painted it. Super simple and complements my Mario Bros. team quite well I think.

For the past three years, we have held a huge Halloween bash at our home. I invite all of the kids friends and have candy bowls at every corner. Although we won’t be able to do that this year, I am going to bring the fun outdoors. I am leaving these balloons set out along with individual packages of candy for each trick or treater and have a Halloween projector out for them to enjoy. So excited for Halloween night!
