I was asked several months ago if I was going to have a baby shower. Of course, I wanted to celebrate this third baby! But I started thinking about ways to give back in the process and a benefit baby shower just kept weighing on my heart. The idea of bringing people together for a good cause just made sense.

When I approached Aimee and Emily of Jax and 6th street in Richmond TX about the idea, they were so supportive! The plan is to have a baby shower on Sunday September 8th from 12-3pm at their location and all baby items given will benefit the Ft. Bend Women’s Center; a non-profit organization that provides shelter and resources to women and children. There are currently several women expecting and baby items will go directly to them and their newborns.

This is where Kendra Scott just blew me away! I reached out to them about being a sponsor for our event and received a call the next day. They loved the idea so much, they agreed to not only be a sponsor but to also hold their own shower and a portion of sales that day would go back to the center!

I had such a great time hosting at their Sugar Land location this past weekend! Thank you to Kendra Scott for being such an amazing, supportive company. Your heart radiates in the wonderful jewelry you make that help women feel beautiful and empowered.
